UG exam through CUET

Changes introduced in admission policy (2022)
Until last year, marks in Class 12 board exams were used to determine admission to Delhi University. Except for the School of Open Learning and the National Collegiate Women’s Education Board, all undergraduate programs would be admitted through the Common University Entrance Test, according to Singh, who called the new admission policy a landmark policy.
The CUET will account for 85% of the marks for admission in the 50% of seats earmarked for minority colleges, while the colleges will select the remaining 15%. Admission to the non-reserved 50% seats will be solely based on the CUET Exam. The merit list will be considered based on the combination of only those subjects in which the candidate took the CUET. Changing the stream will have no negative consequences for anyone.
Application form for DU 2022
Students must ensure their eligibility before applying for the exam because the DU Application Form has been provided exclusively for eligible candidates. Candidates must fill out the DU Application Form with extreme caution, as any changes to the details could result in the application being rejected. Applicants must submit their DU Application Form on time as the registration facility will close after the mentioned date.

The admission process at Delhi university
The DU admissions process will be governed by the NTA’s University level entrance exam and candidates’ academic performance in 12th grade. The candidates will be assigned seats through a university-level counselling process run by Delhi University.
Following the merit list/result announcement, Delhi University will conduct the counselling process. Only those candidates who have been shortlisted on the merit list can participate in the counselling process. Candidates can register for the DU Counselling procedure via the internet. After the candidates’ documents have been verified, they will be offered final admission.

Delhi University considers the best four marks of the students in the qualifying examination or the 12th Class to derive the Delhi University cut-off marks. This minimum score corresponds to the minimum marks in terms of percentage that are mandatorily required by a given candidate for admission to a particular course/college. No candidates will be entertained for admission without having secured the minimum marks required for admission or the DU cut-off marks.
